Turn Everyday Items Into Essential Support
We collect new and gently used baby clothes to provide babies and families in need throughout San Diego County with essential items. Every donation is thoughtfully prepared and distributed free of charge through trusted community partners.
Every donated item is carefully inspected, thoughtfully prepared, and included in a care bundle for babies and families in need.
What to Donate
We accept new and gently used baby clothes, blankets, books, and accessories in sizes preemie through 12 months for babies and families in need throughout San Diego County.
Items should be clean, stain-free, gently used or new, and free of excessive wear, odors, or broken parts.
Accepted items include:
- Onesies, sleepers, pants, outfits, jackets, and dresses
- Socks, hats, bibs, and shoes
- Blankets and sleep sacks (without Velcro)
- Board books in good condition
- Washable sensory toys and teething rings (without liquid)
Gently Hugged accepts baby clothes, blankets, board books, and select washable baby accessories only. We cannot accept baby equipment, diapers, formula, bottles, or pacifiers.
